[No Thirst Software] Re: Hide transfers from income/expense totals
That solved it, Kevin. I didn't even know what that feature was or why it was turned on. Thank you! [No Thirst Software] Re: Hide transfers from income/expense totals
I don't have anything written in the bucket field for these transfers, and in the transaction window these all read '(transaction)', which seems fine. But why should shuffling money back and forth between my accounts simultaneously raise my income & expenses? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group. [No Thirst Software] Re: Hide transfers from income/expense totals
Mike, I think the problem is that the money WAS income but is now just a transfer. This is like the CC payment question. Mac, make sure the "bucket" field is showing as "(optional)" on transfers. That fixed some of the issues I was seeing with duplicating income/expense. [No Thirst Software] Re: Hide transfers from income/expense totals
Hey Mac, Not sure I have a solution, but regardless of whether it goes to your Savings or Expenses isn't it all still Income? Not sure if this will help, but I have a Savings bucket that I use for all my savings transactions so this way I can at least track those transactions from month to month. Doesn't sound like this may be what you are after, but thought I would throw it out there. Hope this helps, Mike On Jan 8, 2:09 am, Mac wrote: > I transfer funds between my accounts several times each month.
