CouchDB in a POST request to _all_docs where key is null will return an error 
row:

   "total_rows": 14970916,

   "offset": 0,

   "rows": [

      {

         "error": "not_found"

      },
      ... other valid rows ...
    ]
}

CouchDB 2.0 will return a 400 error
