Hello All,
I have added the patch for resolving the issue of getting an error on deleting
the Financial Account with the following changes:

- Updated the service definition of 'deleteFinAccount' and used the 'update' as
entity-auto invoke method instead of 'delete'.
- Added all non-pk attributes of the entity for the update operation.
- Added 'thruDate' parameter for expiring the financial account.

*OFBIZ-12153.patch*
Please let me know if any modification is needed.

[jira] [Updated] (OFBIZ-12191) Bug preventing proper explosion of BOM containing virtual nodes

2021-02-27 Thread Nameet Jain (Jira)

 [
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-12191?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
 ]

Nameet Jain updated OFBIZ-12191:

Description:
I tried the following use case. We configured BOM for the virtual product whose
nodes can also be virtual.

{code:java}
// Product To Be produced

PROD_MANUF_1 (Virtual Product)
 - PROD_MANUF_11 (Variant)
 - PROD_MANUF_12 (Variant)

// Raw Material

RAW_MAT_1 (Virtual)
 - RAW_MAT_11 (Variant)
 - RAW_MAT_12 (Variant)

RAW_MAT_2 (Standard)

// BOM

PROD_MANUF_1-> RAW_MAT_1
-> RAW_MAT_2
PROD_MANUF_11   -> RAW_MAT_11  -> 2 Qty
-> RAW_MAT_2   -> 2 Qty

PROD_MANUF_12   -> RAW_MAT_12  -> 3 Qty
-> RAW_MAT_2   -> 2 Qty {code}
Now let say we want to manufacture 10qty of PROD_MANUF_12. To my expectations,
the requirement generated should be like
 - To produce 10qty for PROD_MANUF_12 we will need
       - 30qty of RAW_MAT_12
       - 20qty of RAW_MAT_2

But the result for MRP and BOM simulation is incorrect. Please refer to the
screenshot.

_I am also attaching sample data to test._

Commit c2c609d8e4e94de1d932b80249613a628a3eccd9 in ofbiz-framework's branch
refs/heads/trunk from Jacques Le Roux
[ https://gitbox.apache.org/repos/asf?p=ofbiz-framework.git;h=c2c609d ]

Improved: Dependency verification  (OFBIZ-12186)

I just read an ASF members thread about this article:
https://medium.com/@alex.birsan/dependency-confusion-4a5d60fec610

One member mentioned that the Groovy project is using the Gradle's dependency
verification feature[1] in the Apache Groovy build.

I suggest we do the same, even after the move from JCenter to MavenCentral where
things should be safer.

[1] https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/dependency_verification.html

This commit includes:
The verification-metadata.xml and verification-keyring.gpg used by the
verification task
*.gpg as binary in .gitattrubtes for verification-keyring.gpg

The documentation about the verification in sy-dependency-verification.adoc
with a link and some unrelated changes in security.adoc about security for
OFBiz in production
An empty line removed in build.gradle

Thanks, [~jleroux] for looking into it.

This permission issue is not related to the above fix.

I have registered a new customer on ecommerce portal and tried it. It is
working fine. It might be a permission or security group issue with
DemoCustomer.

(was: Thanks, [~jleroux] for looking into it.

This permission error is not related to the above fix.

DemoCustomer belongs to 'ECOMMERCE_CUSTOMER' security group and it has no
permission for order update.

Therefore is working fine with the admin user but showing an error with
DemoCustomer.)
