Hi Bill,

I have worked out an arrangement with Scott to resell a Declude test only
version through his web site. We won't be offering it directly. It will be
and
unlimited use subscription for $395 annually. The fancy message handling
stuff
is disabled and it will simply return result codes to Declude. It will be
the
exact same version as the full one, but the license code will turn off
features not applicable in a Declude test environment.

Scott may possibly make an announcement on his web site or list regarding
this. I would check with him if you haven't heard anything by early next
week.

Brian,

I have been following this list since day one, but did not participate the

enjoyed listening to all the discussing, and it sounds like this is going
to
be a great product. But as it is, the pricing is indeed too high for us to
justify making the purchase to add this as another test within Declude.

We average ~40K-50K emails per day, with a large portion of those being
spam. Most Spam is caught with our Declude/Sniffer combo, but still some
do
get through...especially adult emails. I would love to implement Spam
Manager as another test within Declude if you do establish Declude-specific
pricing. So I do hope you consider doing that. I'll be keeping an ear
out.

Hi everyone!

First, my sincere thanks to everyone who helped with the beta testing. Your
input really helped to bring things together.

We posted the final version (for now) today at
http://www.spammanager.com/imail/

Complete documentation is also now available.

Press releases go out at 8am eastern time tomorrow.

This list will be shut down shortly but a new one is up. To join the new
list,
please send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Also, the new address for off list support is [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
Finally :-) there will be more people than just me answering questions!
Three
of our techs spent the weekend reading the docs and I will be training them
this week. I will be monitoring all messages coming in and for now I will
probably be answering most of the questions as well until the others get up
to
speed.

It looks like the next thing to go into beta will be the SMTP relay/gateway
for both Windows and Linux. The gateway portion is complete and it is just a
matter of plugging in the SpamManager functions. So if anyone is interested
in
that, be sure to let me know.

Thanks again and we'll see you on the new list!

I don't know, something's up there somewhere. I had a lot of problems getting
this to work. Our other lists all work fine. When I set it up at first, IMail
did not automatically create the owner aliases that it normally does. Maybe
I'll just delete it and do it again.
