[ns] How could I install ETX implementation by Karlstads university?
Hi, all! I have install Cygwin(version 2.416) and ns-allinone-2.26 in windows XP. The I follow the instruction to replace the ns-2.26 directory with the contents of ns-2.26-aodv-uu-etx-v02.tar.gz. And then used "make clean; ./configure; make depend; make " to compile, but failed. [ns] NS2 and SUMO - Parse mobility traces
Hi, I am used to running simulations in OPNET and have only recently started using NS-2. I would like to know if there is an inbuilt method in NS2 for parsing node mobility traces? Specifically I need nodes or "vehicles" to move according to a trace file generated from the SUMO vehicular mobility simulator. Can anyone advise me on this? Many thanks in advance.
[ns] How to repeat the experiment with random distribution of nodes each time
Dear NS user, Since 4 months I have been working in the NS2 environment. I am mainly working on the wireless sensor networks and I have successfully applied my changes on ns2. My question is that now I want to do the experiments on a number of nodes distributed randomly in the field. I want to be able to apply the experiment for a specific period, saving the results in one output file, then randomly redistributing the nodes and repeat the experiment. This should go on for a number of times. What is the way to do this in NS2? Best Regards, Sammer Srouji
