[ns] ANYCAST SIMULATION IN NS-2
Hi all, I am a new user for NS-2 trying to implement anycast simulation in NS-2.29.3 BUT I don't know where to start and how? Does this NS version support the anycast simulation? is there any code needed code to be added into NS? Is there any example that I can follow to see how anycast simulation is implemented in NS-2. Thank you in advance for the help. Petro

[ns] [ns2] problem in binding tcl and c++
hi, I want to implement a Host Identity protocol using ns2. I will be grateful if u give some help. I just want environment of 2 nodes with duplex link between them, such that one node should send response/request type of packet on receipt of request/response type of packet respectively. Waiting for the answer. Please do reply. thank you, sushma.
[ns] Cancel a packet transmission at MAC Layer and send the packet to the Routing Layer
Hi all Sometimes, I have to cancel a packet transmission at MAC layer and in this case, I want to send the packet to the routing layer again and store it in a queue to sending it later. I've been trying to make that at mcps_data_request method of p802_15_4mac.cc, just at the moment when the node should switch on the TX. The poblem is that my code isn't correct (I really don't know what to do) and I have an segmentation fault. Hence, I'd like to know how to implement this. Thanks a lot David
[ns] 'undefined' protocol in trace file
Dear All, I have a problem after adding my protocol to NS-2.34. My problem is similar to this (http://mailman.isi.edu/pipermail/ns-users/2005-February/047138.html). After I run simulation with my protocol, I’ve got “undefined” in my trace file as follows: f -t 100.617533225 -Hs 9 -Hd 0 -Ni 9 -Nx 216.96 -Ny 129.62 -Nz 0.00 -Ne -1.00 -Nl RTR -Nw — -Ma 0 -Md 0 -Ms 0 -Mt 0 -Is 12582914.255 -Id -1.255 -It undefined -Il 44 -If 0 -Ii 1949 -Iv 4 s -t 100.617708225 -Hs 9 -Hd 0 -Ni 9 -Nx 216.96 -Ny 129.62 -Nz 0.00 -Ne -1.00 -Nl MAC -Nw — -Ma 0 -Md -Ms 5 -Mt 800 -Is 12582914.255 -Id -1.255 -It undefined -Il 102 -If 0 -Ii 1949 -Iv 4 r -t 100.618524510 -Hs 5 -Hd 0 -Ni 5 -Nx 300.00 -Ny 150.00 -Nz 0.00 -Ne -1.00 -Nl MAC -Nw — -Ma 0 -Md -Ms 5 -Mt 800 -Is 12582914.255 -Id -1.255 -It undefined -Il 44 -If 0 -Ii 1949 -Iv 4 Would you mind to give me some clue due to my problem? [ns] hybrid network
Dear users, Can any one help me to integrate WiMAX and the MANET? In fact I want to simulate a scenario where a subset of mobile nodes in MANET has internet connections through their WiMAX interface, these nodes are called gateways. Rest of the nodes just use the gateways to access the internet. Please tell me how to provide both WiMAX and MANET interface to the Gateways. Asif
[ns] Problem in start ontime ftp application in DSDV protocol
Hi Please run the script file(this is Wireless senario). Could you tel me, why the data packet's send start at (about) 50th Second? I have set it to start at 10th second.($ns at 10 $ftp start). I have used DSDV routing protocol, and I think the routing table in all 3 nodes are created until 3 second(Right?). So, why the packet sending late until 50th second? -- Regards; Hosseini Nazhad.
