actually there's a way to include "real" application-level data in an ns-2 packet. The manual has one section on this: http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/doc/node516.html Basically, it's all about defining an Application Data Unit (ADU) containing all the desired data, to be attached to the basic packet. bye, Marco
