[ns] Regarding Chain Topology

2013-03-13 Thread Sai Bhyravajosyula

Hi All

A question regarding Chain Topology

I have a chain topology say 1--2---3---4---5and all nodes are 240 m
away from each neighbors.

Transmission range = 250m and Carrier Sensing Range=550.

And flows are from 122334 45

With this setup , it is being oberved that throughput on 45 flow is much
more than the rest. Why is this??

Is this because in the flow 45 5 is not transmitter where are in other
flows receiver is also a transmitter.

Please help with this scenario.

Thanks

First thing what are you doing in multihops, I mean what is your purpose,
which routing protocol are you using.
Answer to your question is the unfairness among the flows. Nothing to do
with station 5.
