[Nssbackup-team] [Bug 768080] Re: incremental snapshots store more files than needed
Same problem here (my main disk was changing device name after restart) - and adding --no-check-device to tar.py solved the problem. [Nssbackup-team] [Bug 807787] [NEW] Incremental backup saves more files than needed
Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. I tried sbackup 0.11.3 (from Ubuntu repositories) and 0.11.4 (from ppa here), and both are affected with this bug. The problem is that sbackup does full or nearly full backup instead of incremental most of the time (somtimes it does it as it should, though). The backup directory is still named .inc, and I looked into log file - it says something like Maximum free size required is '285 MiB 613 KiB 233', and after that - Total bytes written: 13337548800 (13GiB, 4.3MiB/s). ** Affects: sbackup Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Simple Backup Maintainers, which is subscribed to sbackup. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/807787 Title: Incremental backup saves more files than needed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/sbackup/+bug/807787/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team Post to : nssbackup-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
