If Donk goes to Villa and suddenly works out where the back of the net
is I will LOSE MY SHIT!!! Seeing as he scored 7 goals in 105 appearances
for Wolves (which is a poor rate of return for a midfielder - which is
where I think he played most games?). It does seem that players leave
Wolves and start scoring! I think Coady got an assist on the weekend,
Silva is scoring at will, Bonatini scores a lot. Wouldn't surprise me to
see Ruddy get on the scoreboard 🀣 I did some analysis of goals scored by
Wolves players last season (both playing for Wolves and on loan) and
most of the top scorers were not playing for Wolves... Once again has me
questioning the Bruno system. Could also be that they were playing for
shitty teams?

Most of these players could work for any manager, but Bruno
specifically said he wanted a target man and we've got the big man in.
What I mean by that is that this window must have been addressing what
Bruno said he wanted, so he has support from Fosun. But also anyone
could come in and be happy with the squad.

The biggest "if only" is if Raul hadn't got his head smashed in.

His only saving grace (IMHO) will be Fosun's stubborn pig-headedness -
I don't think they like to be told what to do by managers or fans.

And as much as I want to support Bruno, I find it incredible that we
have the highest quality team in the club's history and we cannot score
a goal against a managerless championship side... I even am wondering
if it is his systems that stop us scoring goals. If you look at the

bounced strangely and accidentally went in...

And I assume that Bruno is not solely to blame - surely Fosun has to

hoping that Sasa Kalajdzic will provide that physical presence in the
box that we are missing. He seems to get a lot of his goals by being in
the right place at the right time. Same as Haaland really - few of his
goals are spectacular - he just puts himself in a place to score and
never stops running (check out how he keeps running onto his or his
team-mates' shots in case the keeper spills it - Podence, Traore etc
take a shot and stand and watch...).

So again, I don't want to come across as negative. I just think that
saying "the wins will come" is ridiculous. If you want to win, you have
to start doing something different! And I really think this game on the
weekend is crucial. If we don't win, Bruno will have lost the fans -

So here is my take on what might be in store for the next few games (and
I am not saying I agree with this, just putting two and two together).
The upcoming games are:

* Southampton at home
* Liverpool away
* Man City at home
* West Ham away
* Chelsea away
* Nottingham Forest at home (on 15th October)

I am guessing that Wolves fan groups are aware that if we don't get a
win this weekend, our next winnable home game is on 15th October - and
by then we might have gone 17 games without a win. No one expects us to
beat Liverpool, Man City or Chelsea (even West Ham away will be a
challenge). Let's face it - Man City has a single player (Haaland) who
has scored 450% more goals than the entire Wolves team this season!

Are the fans happy to wait until 15th October before they start calling
for Bruno's head? I suspect not. If we lose on the weekend I reckon
there will be serious pressure to sack Bruno. This is regardless of all
his purchases etc. The fans will make their voices heard and I bet are
currently working on banners etc saying as much.

His only saving grace (IMHO) will be Fosun's stubborn pig-headedness - I
don't think they like to be told what to do by managers or fans.

And as much as I want to support Bruno, I find it incredible that we
have the highest quality team in the club's history and we cannot score
a goal against a managerless championship side... I even am wondering if
it is his systems that stop us scoring goals. If you look at the fact
that it was the second half of last season when we stopped scoring goals
- probably about the same time as the players had really got used to his
style and were consistently putting it into practice. Why we think it is
easier to take on 11 players by holding up attacks and passing back to
let the defence get back in place I don't understand (Moutinho is often
guilty of this). But at the same time we seem to have a whole team of
players who don't know where the back of the net is... Even Podence's
first goal of the season was a mistimed shot that bounced strangely and
accidentally went in...

And I assume that Bruno is not solely to blame - surely Fosun has to
take some blame for not bringing in a recognised striker sooner. I am
hoping that Sasa Kalajdzic will provide that physical presence in the
box that we are missing.

If we don't win, Bruno will have lost the fans -
even if Fosun doesn't sack him, it will make his life harder. You think
they'll stand by him regardless of the result - as the whole team is now
"his". But we'll see. Fingers crossed we get a win and start turning our
season around...

Yes, Strongest Squad in ages! You have to pinch yourself, possibly
half the starting Portuguese Team if they are all in form!!

I think Kilman will force his way into the England Team and Collins is
already in the Eire Team. A first Team of Internationals and others on
the bench.

Wolves have signed exciting Mali midfielder Boubacar Traore on a season-long
loan, subject to visa and work permit.

As part of the deal, Wolves hold an option to turn the move permanent next
summer, which will also happen automatically should certain clauses be
triggered.

Having impressed for Metz in Ligue 1 last season despite their relegation
struggles, the 21-year-old makes the switch to the Premier League by agreeing a
move to Molineu

Wolves have signed exciting Mali midfielder Boubacar Traore on a season-long
loan, subject to visa and work permit.

As part of the deal, Wolves hold an option to turn the move permanent next
summer, which will also happen automatically should certain clauses be
triggered.

Having impressed for Metz in Ligue 1 last season despite their relegation
struggles, the 21-year-old makes the switch to the Premier League by agreeing a
move to Molineux.
