On at 8:15pm tomorrow as well for the sleepy heads. Yes (not seen any football for a couple of weeks). The first half was very entertaining. Agreed, first half was one of the most entertaining halves of football, in any competition, that I've seen in years. Our mental weakness and a few of Mick's hoofballers were our ultimate undoing. Ward, Berra, Edwards were very poor. On 25/11/2012, at 09:33 , Rog Rita rognr...@exemail.com.au wrote: Yes (not seen any football for a couple of weeks). The first half was very entertaining. Will he keep us up this season? I deleted all of my shortcuts to Mol Mix at the start of the season but I could resist taing a peek this morning. Looks like it was when Mick was here. Re: [NSWolves] Live v Forest
He'll definitely keep us up and I reckon we might sneek a play-off spot (but not willing to put money on it). But you can see there are two contrasting cultures at the club: the ones who want to play high tempo passing football versus the ones who panic and hoof it as soon as the ball comes to them. Our defence really is appalling and I have to say that Pennant has been a big disappointment and has no creativity or pace about him any more. But on weight of numbers I'd have to say that Solly's other signings have been pretty good: Sako, Doumbia, Siggy, Pesko. It's going to take time to change the internal workings of the club but he's giving some younger guys a run and bringing in fresh faces. It will come together over time. Re: [NSWolves] Live v Forest
A lot of this group's preferred managerial candidates are out of work or could be out of work soon given their poor performances this season. Not worth getting rid of Solbakken and getting in one of Hughes, Coyle, O'Neill, Lambert or Rodgers? Re: [NSWolves] Live v Forest
Nope, I've seen and heard enough positives from Solbakken to be given time to make changes at the club. Whether the short-termism being adopted by the majority of football fans these days will allow him that time is another thing all together.
