[NTG-context] Re: itemize

2004-06-20 Thread Patrick Gundlach
Hello Willi,

Of course Patrick's answer works. Another aproach is to use the
\setupitemize command. This gives you more control over the spacing
between the symbol and the text.

I keep forgetting about right, left.

 \setupitemize
 [1] %level of itemization
 [broad,atnmargin]

The atnmargin is a typo, I guess. What does atmargin do?

Thanks for your example. I hope I may put it in texshow-web?

[NTG-context] Re: ConTeXt-Wiki

2004-06-20 Thread Patrick Gundlach
Hello Holger and everybody,

 [starting ConTeXt wiki at] http://members.ping.de:8062/

Finde ich eine gute Idee! Was mir (neben der Hilfe auf auf der Liste für
neue Probleme) am meisten bringt, und ich bisher etwas vermisse, sind
 Beispiel-Dokumente (genauer: deren Quellcode).
[missing example documents and sources]

What kind of example documents do you think of? I guess that you know
that the magazines on the main ConTeXt site have their source code
included?

2004-06-20 Thread Patrick Gundlach
Hello Hans,

I synced the website. Apart from a few new magazines

a few? I can see mag #6 as the newest one, 5 were already there some
time ago.

there is a preliminary manual 'xmldir' and there are manuals for
 xmltools and textools.

any chance that you update the context.www or the list of
downloadable files?

Are xmldir and xmltools different docs?

Are xmldir and xmltools different docs?

xmltools will include all kind of thing i need so that one will grow, xmldir covers the xmldir functionality of xmltools only

Yes shure, it should be atmargin.
 What does atmargin do?
It gives the positioning of the symbol. You might also say inmargin, if
you say margin then it will be indented. - I am not shure whether all
options work properly.

Thanks for your example. I hope I may put it in texshow-web?
Good idea! Feel free to do so.
Kind regards Willi

Hi Hans,
I was looking into the TeXtools manual. Then I looked into the

Do you provide them separately?
I got the tip from Hraban to download cont-exa.

did you try to run textools? should work -)
 texmf-local/scripts/context/ruby
a convenient way to rusn scripts from the tex tree is:
 texmfstart textools.rb
I do not know, precisely. I had your minimal COnTeXt but some time agoe
I messed it up. - I downloaded a new mswintex.zip.bz2. and replaced the
tree. So I had only to move some files manually. - Maz that I solved it
in a clumsy way. However it works now.

I realized that you added a couple of *.enc files in the latest
cont-tmf.zip. - Are there any actions necessary to have the system
using them?
That seems to be no problem, since the new environment worked immediately.
no, unless you want to typeset german with proper umlauts -) [see type-*
files and search for var]
This I have to pick up definitely, because I sometimes have to write
german texts.

Thanks Hans!
