Hi Aditya,

I've run with your patch for a while. It fixes the missing
footnote problem and I haven't noticed it causing any new
problems.

While you're on a winning streak, perhaps you'd like to look
at another problem in the same area? When \quotation is used
instead of \startquotation a footnote number is skipped:

\starttext
\setupquotation[right={''\footnote{First}}]
\quotation{Skips footnote number.}
\stoptext

This happens with or without your \rightdelimitedtextmark
patch.

Thanks,

The mpost call is completely missing in your example.

If I have seen it right, you use pdftex 1.40 with TeXLive2005. Are your

You can also test the today's version of ConTeXt.

[NTG-context] Index formatting: column leaks over page margin

2007-01-12 Thread cormullion
I have a tiny problem with the formatting of an index placed with
\completeindex. When there are more than 14 or so page numbers for an
entry and the entry is in the right hand column, the numbers leak
over the page boundary. I haven't done any special formatting for
these index pages - is there a command that says keep the columns for
a \completeindex less than x cm wide or something?

As you say, acroread is slow; plus it's not free software (in the free

One (I hope) short project that's high on my to-do list is to add file
watching to xpdf. Maybe using inotify or dnotify, at least on linux.
The word on the street is that inotify is the better choice, but I
don't have experience with either, nor am I sure how widely available
they are on linux kernels from distributors.
