[NTG-context] Problem with XML entities in titles
Hello Hans, I'd like to report a problem (bug) with XML entities in chapter or section titles. I've just upgraded to the recent ConTeXt version (2007.08.09) and started to get errors while processing the .tuo file. Please test the attached minimal example. After some hassles (no problem with me, to be expected from something new as luatexbeta) I finally got as far as: compiling and installing luatex, luatools and friends. setting up shell variables. doing texexec --make --all --luatex Alas, mag12 tells about installing luatex, it does not tell me how to run things. I thought that luatex --fmt=cont-en luatest1.tex would work, but it gives me: This is luaTeX, Version 3.141592-beta-0.10.2-2007081511 (Web2C 7.5.6) I can't find the format file `cont-en.fmt'! Now doing luatools --ini --compile cont-en tells me Beginning to dump on file cont-en.fmt (format=cont-en 2007.8.15) but even then I get: 126 ~/temp/luatex: luatex --fmt=cont-en luatest1.tex This is luaTeX, Version 3.141592-beta-0.10.2-2007081511 (Web2C 7.5.6) I can't find the format file `cont-en.fmt'! Has anybody ever tried to rewrite metafont to produce type1 fonts? Yes. The Gyre project is using an extended Metapost to generate Type1 and OTF fonts. Best Martin That's MetaType1? But this does massivly restrict metafonts capabilities. Pens for example are not allowed (Metafont with applied handbrake)! I agree, metatype1 is not very easy to use if you are familiar with metafont already. For existing fonts, mf2pt1 is in general the best approach, I think. There is a (patched?) version out there that delegates most the hard work to fontforge, and it's results are normally quite acceptable. Best is to figure out what is the difference between this variant and docbook, and add those definitions to dbcontext. Hi, When enabling crop marks, ConTeXt prints the page number in each corner. Is it possible to specify which font I want to use for that?
