[NTG-context] Newest ConTeXt in Windows7: kpathsea60.dll is missing ?
So, I went and updated my ConTeXt today as I've got nothing really critical going on. I'm running ConTeXt on Windows 7 (64-bit) and I used firstsetup.bat --modules=all to update it. Everything works fine otherwise, but during the installation process both mpost.exe and pdftex.exe complain that The program can't start because kpathsea60.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I've never seen that complaint before, but now I get it consistently, also after rebooting and updating directly after restart. Both eventually stop complaining after I'd clicked on OK multiple times (yes,yes, just go on, will ya). It doesn't seem critical (I don't use MetaPost and I run MKIV anyway) - or at least the first test file compiled without complaints, but now I'm wondering whether my Windows has a problem (MS update related, maybe?) or whether the Suite has a problem in Windows. And my ConTeXt is the newest available, because I'm now running version ConTeXt ver: 2011.12.23 09:52 MKIV and that's more recent than my most recent working day before this. :-) Thanks, Mari ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Does this mean that the setupMPpage command will become obsolete in near future? Are both suggestions documented somewhere or is this mailing list the only way to find out? It’s already obsolete as you noticed by the “undefined control sequence” warning. The reason for this is that \startMPpage and \startTEXpage are now defined in a different way than they had been in MkII. In MkII both commands are defined with \def\startMPpage{…} and \def\startTEXpage{…} but in MkIV both are a instance of fittingpage and the definition for them is \definefittingpage[MPpage] and \definefittingpage[TEXpage]. As a consequence the old \setupMPpage command is also gone and you have to set global settings with \setupfittingpage[environment][settings]. [NTG-context] Hyphenation in Natural Table
Hello, I want to clarify the topic: is it possible to enable hyphenation in Natural Table? Most of full-text examples in enattab.pdf are not hyphenated as in my (not minimal) example. example file=table-hyphenation-test.tex \starttext \input tufte \bTABLE \bTR \bTD Topic\eTD \bTD Text\eTD \eTR \bTR \bTD Foo\crlf Bar\eTD \bTD \input tufte \eTD \eTR \bTR \bTD BAR \crlf FOO\eTD \bTD \startitemize \item \input tufte \item \input tufte \stopitemize \eTD \eTR \eTABLE \stoptext /example P.S. In my real document I use Russian (\mainlanguage[ru]) and enumeration in table, with hyphenated text document would look more fancy. --- WBR, Vladimir Lomov -- Your files are now being encrypted and thrown into the bit bucket. Re: [NTG-context] Is there a replacement for \tracechinesetrue in mkiv?
All right, after some readings, I came out with a node solution. The major idea is listed below and works just fine. n from node_traverse (head) and n.id==node.id ('glyph') My question is: is there a better way? Because these codes are so dirty. I prefer mplib but I have no clue how to do that. = local ht,wd,dp = n.height,n.width,n.depth ; local rwd = .5*65536 local k1 = node.new('kern') k1.kern = -wd-.5*rwd local r1 = node.new(rule) r1.width, r1.height, r1.depth = rwd, ht, dp local k2 = node.new('kern') k2.kern = -r1.width local r2 = node.new(rule) r2.width, r2.height, r2.depth = wd+rwd, ht+.5*rwd, -ht+.5*rwd local k3 = node.new('kern') k3.kern = -r2.width local r3 = node.new(rule) r3.width, r3.height, r3.depth = wd+rwd, -dp+.5*rwd, dp+.5*rwd local k4 = node.new('kern') k4.kern = -.5*rwd local r4 = node.new(rule) r4.width, r4.height, r4.depth = rwd, ht, dp local k5 = node.new('kern') k5.kern = -.5*rwd k1.next = r1 r1.prev = k1 r1.next = k2 k2.prev = r1 k2.next = r2 r2.prev = k2 r2.next = k3 k3.prev = r2 k3.next = r3 r3.prev = k3 r3.next = k4 k4.prev = r3 k4.next = r4 r4.prev = k4 r4.next = k5 k5.prev = r4 local box = node.hpack(k1) local tb = node.vpack(box) insert_after (head, n, tb) = On Thu, Dec 22, 2011 at 6:47 AM, Hans Hagen pra...@wxs.nl wrote: On 21-12-2011 12:16, Zhichu Chen wrote: Hi, I wrote some CJK vertical typesetting macros in mkii a long time ago and I want to adopt it to mkiv. [NTG-context] bug with --purgeall?
Hi there, yesterday I ran the following command: context --purgeall --environment=mysecondstyle.tex --mode=myexample.xml I know that the source file is missing (I discovered it later). This is not my issue. The problem is that the --purgeall option caused context to erase all .log files contained in that directory. Instead of asking for a source file name, it deleted all .log files. I'm afraid this is a bug, at least it shouldn't erase files that context didn't generate.
