What about NARROW NO-BREAK SPACE ? About 1 or 2 years ago, it was the same width as \, but now it's much smaller. Is the actual version the correct one? Not really ... some time ago the code dealing with those spaces was adapted to deal with tagging and at that point some decisions were made (after all, these things were not available in mkii so untill code gets cleaned up and stabelizes antything can happen).
