[nysbirds-l] American Avocet continues at Jamaica Bay East Pond (8-19)

Only reporting because there was a negative report posted from birders who
were out on the pond yesterday. I just received a text from Maha Katnani
who along with Debra Kral, observed the American Avocet on the north end of
the East Pond.

Still present in reverse j pond with least sandpipers- stands out with that
long tail.  Got worried at first since a harrier was around but all good
now.
