Another nice bird at Montezuma New for me were four trumpeter swans. Two in main pool and two in May's point pool. While out kayak birding Ruffle Bar in Jamaica Bay, Louis DeMarco and I just had a Black-necked Stilt fly off in the direction of West Pond. Worth checking there and East Pond, most likely.
