[nysbirds-l] Dune Road

2014-04-03 Thread MacBookPro
Today around 4:00pm I took a drive down dune rd and to my surprise, saw a
short-eared owl hovering and finally perching for a few minutes on the south
side of the road (between roads L and K).

[nysbirds-l] painted bunting

2013-04-05 Thread MacBookPro
I would like to apologize for any frustration I have caused with my postings. I
have never posted in this forum and didn't understand the rules and protocol. I
now realize that I should've contacted the homeowner prior to posting. I have
identified the bird and will make a written report to NYSOA's Avian Records
Committee along with photos.

For those of you who sent me nice emails I appreciate your support and
feedback!!

Again I am sorry for any frustration this may have caused…Thanks, Melissa
