Re: [nysbirds-l] Red Phalarope, JBWE, YES
Still feeding at 2nd pond when I arrived at 11:15am, observed with Brooklyn birders Cathy and Karen. Flew to 1st pond (nearest to Nature Center) around noon, where it sat at the far end and, after 30 minutes, flew left, possibly into the phragmites area. Birders are at the location now, waiting for the phalarope to re-appear. [nysbirds-l] WW Crossbills, Montauk
I am in the parking lot for Kirk Beach, across from Kirk Park, Montauk, where I have been watching 3 White-winged Crossbills for 45 minutes. They fly off then return to the pine trees bordering the lot. A Red-breasted Nuthatch too. This is the small parking lot opposite the IGA on the south side of 27. You enter the lot from S. Emerson Ave. Donna Schulman Forest Hills, NY Sent from my iPhone On Nov 14, 2012, at 2:03 PM, Shane Blodgett wrote: > The pair in Deep Hollow South Pasture. 2:00 p.m. > > Shane Blodgett > Brooklyn NY > > Sent from my iPhone > > -- > > NYSbirds-L List Info: > http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME > http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES > http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm > > ARCHIVES: > 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html > 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L > 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/NYSB.html > > Please submit your observations to eBird: > http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ > > -- -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/NYSB.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
