Hi all, We have been getting a lot of emails from people inquiring the status of the Bohemian and hoping to come and see it. Unfortunately, we have not seen the bird since late morning on Sunday. [nysbirds-l] Cupsogue - Sandwich Tern & Marbled Godwits
We hit Cupsogue Beach for low tide birding this morning. We saw three Marbled Godwits along with a Black Skimmer (and many other shore birds) out on the flats. We then headed over to the East Side Inlet Jetty and saw 7 Horned Larks in a grassy area. We then went over to the jetty and looked into inlet. Right below us (15 feet) was a Sandwich Tern feeding on the rock/sand area which are exposed at low tide.
