[nysbirds-l] 1st Killdeer of 2012 (for me in Suffolk)
Today at dusk while jogging through the athletic fields of the Center Moriches Highschool, Suffolk county, a Killdeer called out letting me know I was not alone. This is my personal first observation this year of this species. Also, this past weekend observed 3 Razorbill in Shinnecock inlet viewed from the County Parks parking lot. Among them were 3 harbor seals and one surfaced with a flounder that filled its grin.
