For anyone looking for the avocet in Brooklyn tomorrow, below are the coordinates. It was initially observed on the north side of Coney Island Creek at: 40°34'52.32"N 73°59'29.68"W It was eventually chased off by a few crows and settled on the south side of the creek at: 40°34'52.83"N 73°59'52.09"W I received a call from Adam Welz at 2:20pm saying it was still present at the second location.
