I met Tom and Donna Gooley at about 9:15 this morning in Rouses Point. The
gull was still present when I left at about 10:00. I think it will stay
around as long as ice fishermen keep cleaning their fish on the ice and
provide it with a reliable food source..

The duck was still present as of noon today. I saw it from the entrance road
to the Ausable Point Camp Ground, but it would also have been visible from
Rte-9. I prefer the entrance road because it has less trafic.
