On the ocean in front of the swale at West End 2 a Brown Pelican was seen 75 yards off the beach. It disappeared while I was scanning the flocks of shorebirds and gulls and was gone when Stan came by. A probable Am Golden Plover was on the water's edge there. Also a Marbled Godwit at the Coast Guard Statiion sandbar.
