Date: June 24, 2011 Place: Montauk Point, NY I easily observed at least 30 Wilson's Storm Petrels from the Camp Hero overlook. The best vantage point was halfway between the parking lot and the lighthouse. Binoculars were not necessary but very helpful and a scope made it even better. Also present were a number of Roseate Terns and Bank Swallows. No shearwaters were seen. Good Birding, Joe Giunta
