[nysbirds-l] Prospect Lake Common Gallinule (Kings)
The COMMON GALLINULE has decided to travel. Kathy Toomey tweeted out a note at 315 this afternoon that she spotted the bird in the reeds between West Island and the Rustic Shelter. This is across the lake from the Rink, now the southwest Lake the place to see the Gallinule. The best vantage might be the half moon bench area (opp the island) looking northwest. ( nearest Train is F to Fort hamilton Parkway if this bird sticks to the spot) Peter BBC -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birding.aba.org/maillist/NY01 Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
