Today while driving along the New Croton Reservoir I saw a huge flock of Ring-necked Ducks. The location was in the cove south of the intersection of Croton Ave. and Baptist Church Rd. There must have been well over 5 or 600, probably many more. I've never seen such a huge flock. Very cool. There were also a few Common Mergansers, two American Wigeons, and 7 Greater Scaup.
