I had single bird at feeder between ~ 1215 & 1320. Per owner, both hummers seen earlier in AM, but not sure if she and/or another birder saw both birds.
Of note, as I was leaving, a lone Turkey Vulture drifted over this most productive of properties ! Could this, once again, be the elusive "Lonesome George" ? Whenever I see a single T.V. on the North Fork (for at least the last few years) I start to hum and then paraphrase a line from the "3 Penny Opera"...'could it be old Georgie's back in town ?
