After whiffing on the Western Grebe at Montauk earlier this week, i was able to catch the Western Grebe at Ponquogue Bridge later this afternoon. Kudos to Tom Burke and Gail Bensin for discovering the bird, and thanks to Pat Lindsay and Shai Mitra for alerting me to the birds presence.
