Julian Reschke created OAK-5734: ----------------------------------- Summary: MongoStatusTest vs "latest" builds of mongodb Key: OAK-5734 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-5734 Project: Jackrabbit Oak Issue Type: Bug Components: mongomk Reporter: Julian Reschke Priority: Minor
This test: {noformat} @Test public void testGetVersion() { assertTrue(status.getVersion().matches("^\\d+\\.\\d+\\.\\d+$")); } {noformat} will fail with a not-so helpful message when running with a "latest" version of MongoDB, such as http://downloads.mongodb.org/win32/mongodb-win32-x86_64-2008plus-ssl-v3.2-latest.zip Minimally, the test should fail in a way that is better to understand. On the other hand, it's not clear to be why we would *want* that test to fail - testing a "latest" build can be entirely reasonable, no? -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.15#6346)
