[obc] OBC BAR updates
Hi All: There was an ABC 40km time trial this morning - and it was interesting. There were actually more women than men (eleven versus 10), and a new women's course record of 63:56 was set by Sheila Kealey. Second amongst the women was Allison McKay with a new PB of 65:31, and third was Ellen Pazdzior with 65:46. Amongst the men, Richard Hinz was very happy with his first place 58:37 (which I think was a PB by 2 seconds, though the ABC timekeeper didn't indicate it as such). Jamie Johnson was second with 60:31, and Keith Mahoney was third with 61:27 (a PB). I appreciate the work that Celia has done in reporting TT results. I am also perplexed to learn that her enthusiasm for the task and quality of product is not welcomed or encourated by all. It seems unfortunate given that we all know that the strength of the OBC rests with the volunteers.
