Terkait program konversi minyak tanah ke elpiji, Kalla mengakui bahwa saat ini masih ada kendala dengan industri tabungnya. Namun ia optimistis program itu akan bisa dipercepat 1,5 tahun selesai. Namun Kalla menegaskan bahwa untuk opsi kenaikan harga BBM sejauh ini belum dibicarakan sama sekali oleh Presiden SBY. Mengenai kenaikan harga BBM belum dibicarakan oleh Bapak Presiden.
