By Berni Moestafa Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- PT Dayaindo Resources, an Indonesian coal and nickel mining company, won a five-year contract to supply 100,000 metric tons of medium-calorie coal to China every month. Dayaindo shares rose to a three-month high. The company signed the agreement with Guangdong Zhenrong Energy Co. on Sept. 28, Corporate Secretary Endang Wijaya said by telephone in Jakarta today. This is the second deal with Guangdong Zhenrong in a month after a Sept. 10 contract to sell 100,000 tons of high-calorie coal a month over a two-year period, Wijaya said. Guangdong Zhenrong will supply the coal to power plants in China, he said. Shares of Jakarta-based Dayaindo advanced 6.5 percent to 115 rupiah as of the 11:30 a.m. local-time break, set for the highest close since July 1.
