Published: April 2, 2010 .. after the opening bell as tracking losses on overnight CBOT soyoil prices following a disappointed USDA report. Offer prices for palm olein are almost at par with crude soyoil That places pressure on CPO prices even though crude oil rose toward $85 (in Asian trade), said a trading executive with a Kuala Lumpur-based brokerage. .. It's difficult to get prices rallying even as palm inventories may fall in the coming months, as palm's discount to soyoil is very narrow now, said a Malaysia-based exporter. The market is in a mixed situation with no clear direction. It is going sideways to downward, one Malaysian dealer said jadi nunggu harga soyoil naik dulu !barulah harga cpo bisa bagus.

Malaysia palm oil output may drop 2-3pc Published: 2010/03/19 Palm oil production in Malaysia, the world's second-largest producer, may decline between 2 and 3 per cent this year because of the El Nino phenomenon cuts output even as acreage increases, an industry group said. National production can be affected by El Nino but there are other factors that could offset the drop, like larger areas coming into maturity, said Boon Weng Siew, president of the Malaysian Estate Owners Association, which represents small and medium-sized plantations. The sum total may not be that serious. A lack of rainfall in Malaysia has raised concern production of the world's most-consumed edible oil may drop, extending last year's 57 per cent gain in prices, as demand expands from China and India, the largest consumers and importers.

Crude palm oil likely to trade higher post July Malaysia, Indonesia may see production shortfalls. Crude oil may trade in the $80-95 a barrel range for most of the year and investment money will come back to commodities. G. Chandrashekhar On the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange (BMD), crude palm oil will trade between 2600 and 2,800 Malaysian ringgit (MYR) a tonne during March-July 2010, and will trade in a higher range of 2800-3200 MYR a tonne in the second half of the year, according to Mr Dorab Mistry, London-based Director of Godrej International Ltd. Giving his price forecast at the annual Palm and Lauric Oils Conference here on Tuesday, Mr Mistry justified his prognosis for the short-term till July on the basis that palm market has comfortable cushion of stocks for the next few months and this will be helped further by large soyabean supplies coming out of South America. Production shortfalls In the second half of the year (post-July), the expert expected tightness in the market with major origins Malaysia and Indonesia facing the threat of production shortfalls, the dollar to weaken and South American soya crop flow to peak. This would propel palm higher, Mr Mistry said. --- In obrolan-bandar@yahoogroups.com, dario kurniawan darioamran1...@... wrote: harga bisa naik dong ??  DarioAmran Dari: eddytj eddyt...@...
