I read in newspaper today that the Finance Minister was crying after debat with State Owned Minister pertaining some decisions on BUMI ... I suspect she is crying due to two things: 1) her consideration on the impact of lowering fuel price will impact government budget and 2) may be pertaining instruction given to PTBA to buy paper BUMI. Will Ptba's performance be affected in the future with the purchase of Bumi if it's really nothing but a company with only debts? in BUMI case, IMHO the most likely scenario is forward contract on its coal production on a highly discounted price (bahasa kerennya ijon). we know there are people in desperate need of fresh cash :) masalahnya, kalo gak salah Glencore holds marketing rights of BUMI's coal. and Glencore themselves is in a bad position.
