[BERNANKE ON EXIT STRATEGY] Bernanke says the Fed's balance sheet
expansion will not lead to inflation, that the Fed has the tools to
withdraw stimulus. The Fed is committed to keeping inflation low and
will be able to do so. The Fed can sell assets from its balance sheet,
if necessary. Even if the Fed's balance sheet remains 'swollen" the
funds rate can be raised to tighten policy. Raising rates on bank
reserves at the Fed will be an important tool to tighten policy. Back
on the inflation outlook, he says wage and price trends are slowing due
to economic slack, and that long-run inflation expectations are stable.
High unemployment and stable expectations could push inflation lower,
and will at least keep it stable.

tambang dan diperparah oleh UNVR dan PGAS yg kembali
dikadalin....
