[okular] [Bug 421298] Clicking http(s) links results into endless 'downloading file' dialogue instead of passing link to web browser
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421298 --- Comment #13 from Demetris M --- (In reply to Albert Astals Cid from comment #11) > Can you confirm that installing kf5-kded fixes it? Yes, it does. It downloads what is probably index.html first, but then passes the actual URL to the browser. Should it happen this way? What should happen next? Can Okular declare kf5-kded a hard dependency so that all distros pick it up, or should we open bugs at all affected distros' bugzillas? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421430 --- Comment #3 from Never Mind --- I had tried reading these sheets with Evince and Zathura, both using poppler as backend, and none of them seem to have the same issue when scaling down. I use okular more comfortably due to the interface, but I am forced to switch to Zathura when this issue arises. I have attached a screenshot of the three, at matching document zoom (notice that evince and okular do not show the same document size on screen when the same zoom % is selected in the app, so different zooms levels were selected until both rendered same pixel sizes 1:1 on screen). [okular] [Bug 421413] toolbar in presentation mode not opening when moving unpressed stylus to the top left
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421413 --- Comment #3 from daniel-other+kde...@dadosch.de --- Ahh, ok. If I aim really close on the top and press (I mean really close, ca. 1mm) it opens. However this is really difficult, especially in a presentation situation. My QT-Version is 5.14.2. When hovering over the screen, a crosshair is shown. After a bit of testing around, the toolbar indeed opens with just hovering the pen, but the area in which this is activated is so small, that you basically can't open it (I have a 1920x1080 screen, height approx. 17.5 cm. Two height pixels are only 3mm tall.) I suggest that when hovering with a pen, the toolbox should open, as soon as the pen is in the top x pixels, where x is the height of the toolbox when opened. If the stylus is pressed on the screen (when drawing etc) it should not open. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[okular] [Bug 421399] New: Different setting of continuous view mode per windows does not work correctly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421399 Bug ID: 421399 Summary: Different setting of continuous view mode per windows does not work correctly Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: m...@jonas-schuermann.name Target Milestone: --- I often have multiple windows of Okular open with different documents. Some of these documents are slides that I browse with continuous view off, but some are papers/longer documents that I browse with continuous view on. However if I turn on continuous view in one window, turn it off in a second window and come back to the first strange things happen. The view blocks completely until I toogle continous view 2 more times, the view is displayed continuously although the menu setting says otherwise, and so on. It is really annoying and has been like this for some years now. I hoped that the recent changes of saving continous view mode for every distinct file would solve the problem but it's even worse now. I only open one more file, the continuous view flag gets loaded and locks up the other windows. The problem seems to be that this boolean is somehow global although it really should be a per-window thing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open one document, turn on continuous view 2. Open a different document in a second window, there turn off continous view 3. The first window should act strange. If the problem doesn't show right away try toggling the setting a few times while switching windows, it should appear pretty soon. OBSERVED RESULT Changing continous view in one document affects all other windows in strange ways. EXPECTED RESULT Continuous view should be a flag that is distinct for each open window.
