[onap-discuss] TSC Meeting Logistics

2018-06-20 Thread Kenny Paul
My apologies, but I have had a number of issues getting to both my email and
g-cal to make calendar changes and/or respond to emails.

Today's TSC meeting will be part of the Main Session @ the Casablanca Developer
Forum @ 2:45 PM Beijing time.

https://zoom.us/j/990479778

As is done at F2F meetings this is a webinar bridge rather than a standard Zoom
bridge.

Here are the logistics for remote attendees:

If you want to talk:
There is a 4 -5 second audio delay
Raise your hand and I will let you talk
I will be the only person that can hear the person speaking
I will need to translate any comments to the attendees here in the auditorium.
(remember a 4-5 second audio delay)
Any questions / comments must be kept brief – 1 -2 sentences max.

Chat:
The IRC will be active
I have just enabled chat for all on the webinar

Best Regards,
-kenny

Arul,
I don’t know the url off hand for sparky if there is a path after the
nodeport, do you get content if you curl 9517 directly when in the docker?
Did a search on the wiki and found an old page of mine - The last time I dealt
with sparky I put up a link on
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Verifying+your+ONAP+Deployment#VerifyingyourONAPDeployment-ONAPGUIs
When you get it working can you update the page – as the community will
benefit.

Re: [onap-discuss] Port number missing for AAI in portal

2018-06-20 Thread Arul Nambi
Hi Santi,
Thanks for your suggestion. I am aware of this, but this is a manual step that
I want to avoid, portal has some scripts that they run during the initial setup
where some applications gets onboarded and I think this is where we need to
change it.

The reason why you are not seeing sparky even after making the change in portal
was because of network setting in OOM configuration, I am working on fixing
that. I will be submitting the change today.

Hi Arul,

I have the same error with AAI and xDemo App. I've included the port usign the
"Application Onboarding" menu

[cid:image001.jpg@01D40888.DCB8A590]

If you click in the application you are interested on, a new window appears and
you can change the URL.

I've tried with internal and external ports (9517:32193 in sparky case) and it
doesn't work for me. I've tried the internal port too because i saw that in the
policy case the URL contains the internal
port:http://policy.api.simpledemo.onap.org:30219/onap/policy (pap 8443:30219)

Let me know if it works for you.
In my case I obtain a "browser can't stablish a connection with server
aai.api.sparky.simpledemo.onap.org:32193"

[onap-discuss] DCAE DMaaP use and DiskPressure

2018-06-20 Thread William Kurkian
Hello,

I've been working on an application to stream event data from a PNF to the
DCAE, and then receive it through the DMaaP.

I am on the beijing version. I've done some stress testing, and I find that
the problem I have is disk pressure taking pods down around 90%
utilization.

Looking at the NFS share, it appears the main cause is 30G of data in
elasticsearch. Does anyone have any insight to what this is, or how this
could be managed?

Thanks,
William Kurkian

Hi,

we have seen it too, that certificate used by the VID is out of date (for a
about year). As a workaround we have created and imported new certificate to
tomcat_keystore file manually, and then rebuild VID image. Not sure about
official way how to fix it.

The support for K8S based model and blueprint generation is planned for

HI Suraj, It was not part of Amsterdam, DCAE-DS was included in Beijing
release. I’ve copied Michael from SDC team who can give more info.

However DCAE-DS was not used for model/blueprint generation in R2 (component
blueprints were created manually). For R3, current plans are to onboard the
DCAE MS through SDC/DS.

Re: [onap-discuss] Port number missing for AAI in portal

2018-06-20 Thread TALASILA, MANOOP (MANOOP)
I assume you are testing ONAP in an OOM deployment. Because in OOM deployment,
the 30xxx ports are not yet mapped for these apps, so they are not accessible
from Portal right now. They are being tracked though. However, these apps
should work if you use HEAT based deployment. I hope this helps clarify the
issue.

Can you please make the change and also can you tell me if I can quickly change

Re: [onap-discuss] Port number missing for AAI in portal

2018-06-20 Thread Santi Rodríguez
Hi Arul,

I have the same error with AAI and xDemo App. I've included the port usign
the "Application Onboarding" menu

If you click in the application you are interested on, a new window appears
and you can change the URL.

I've tried with internal and external ports (9517:32193 in sparky case) and
it doesn't work for me. I've tried the internal port too because i saw that
in the policy case the URL contains the internal port:
http://policy.api.simpledemo.onap.org:30219/onap/policy (pap 8443:30219)

Let me know if it works for you.
In my case I obtain a "browser can't stablish a connection with server
aai.api.sparky.simpledemo.onap.org:32193"

Re: [onap-discuss] Beijing: VID handshake failed

2018-06-20 Thread Golabek, Tomasz (Nokia - PL/Wroclaw)
Hi,

we have seen it too, that certificate used by the VID is out of date (for a
about year). As a workaround we have created and imported new certificate to
tomcat_keystore file manually, and then rebuild VID image. Not sure about
official way how to fix it.

Hello,

I am trying to run the vFWCL demo on Beijing (heat installation). After

I used curl command from VID machine to instantiate the service. When
specifying the url in the curl command: if i put HTTPS i get this error SSL

So i used HTTP and the command works, but the so failed to create the instance
and i got this error: "requestState":"FAILED",

I this there is a problem about certificates used in vid. Could anyone help me
with this?

I've deployed the ONAP platform using the OOM option. All modules are
