There are 2 mechanisms to ensure that AAI UI is seeing updates.

aai/data-router is supposed to listen on dmaap topic AAI-EVENT and update 
Elastic Search for updates.
(This does not seem to work in your case)

aai/sparky-be is running a full sync once a day to pick up anything that could 
have been missed by aai/data-router.
If the entities showed up the next day in the AAI UI (or after a sparky-be 
restart which triggers a sync), it is definitively an aai/data-router 
configuration.
If the entities are not showing at all in AAI UI after a few days or multiple 
sparky-be restart, I would be interested to see some logs.

I executed :

Still VNFs is shown as 0 in the AAI UI.

Hi Abdelmuhaimen,

The search bar does not require any special syntax.

If your AAI is setup correctly and you have data populated, then you should 
start to see suggestions as soon as you type characters.

for VNFs, you can do a search for "VNFs".  The suggestion should show up and if 
you have generic-vnf created, you will be able to see information on your 
screen.  The information on that screen will also be searchable.

Really up to you.

My recommendation is that you answer questions/concerns on UI in emails.

They have a lot of meetings and we are not present in a lot of them.
