[onap-discuss] [MultiVIM] local sdn controller APIs

2017-09-15 Thread Serkant Uluderya
Dear MultiVIM team,

MultiVIM component is responsible for configuring overlay networks via
local SDN controllers for the cloud infrastructure. Does it mean that
MultiVIM will be able to talk directly with a 3rd party SDN controller?
In Volte UseCase for R1, it seems that SDNC would be responsible
implementing the APIs from the local SDN controller. Do you plan to
implement those APIs for the R2 in MultiVIM?

[onap-discuss] vLB demo closed loop

2017-08-04 Thread Serkant Uluderya
Hi,

I'm trying to complete vLB demo on rackspace using version 1.0.0. I think,
I completed all the steps except policy enforcement.
What is the correct way of executing closed loop for this demo? In Policy
portal there are 4 policies:
Config_BRMS_Param_BRMSParamvFWDemoPolicy
Config_BRMS_Param_BRMSParamvLBDemoPolicy
Config_MS_vFirewall
Config_MS_vLoadBalancer

I verified the DNS traffic between ziad1vdnspg01pg01, demovlblb, demovlbdns
and increased the traffic. No chance..
It seems that ./demo.sh appc DemoModule step is required but it is not
working for vLB. When I run this script test execution fails and gets the
following errors:

Error in file '/var/opt/OpenECOMP_ETE/robot/resources/heatbridge.robot':
Importing test library 'HeatBridge' failed: ImportError: No module named
HeatBridge Traceback (most recent call last): None PYTHONPATH:

Re: [onap-discuss] [DCAE] DCAE 1.0.0

2017-07-25 Thread Serkant Uluderya
Hi Michael,

As a side note, I've tried version 1.1.0 on rackspace using the templates
from here
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/gitweb?p=demo.git;a=tree;f=heat/OpenECOMP;h=b191dadd58edbe261c860adb649acdfd8e7c8b0f;hb=HEAD.
Onap installation was smooth, however I could not manage to install the vFW
demo. I tried to use vFW templates from here
https://nexus.onap.org/content/sites/raw/org.openecomp.demo/heat/vLB/1.1.0-SNAPSHOT/
and ONAP did not verify heat template.
I was in a hurry, so I reverted back ONAP 1.0.0 to run the vFW demo and it
was ok for me.
I'm not sure if I got the correct vFW template for 1.1.0. If vFW demos are
running well on 1.1.0, could you please add to the wiki where to get the
correct heat templates for the demos.

Kind regards,
Serkant

converted (now 430 MBs in total) and uploaded them in here for easy

Serkant,
I took out that comment about DCAE and 1.0.0 – it was misleading and
may have been related to some vanilla/Rackspace context from an old
edit.  I also added
an analog comment to Rackspace on DCAE (vanilla openstack supports
floating ips for later versions of OS).

ONAP 1.0.0 is actually demo-complete – as in the closed loop
TCA/SEC_Measurement DMaaP metrics run ok on the vFirewall demo at
least.  DCAE is required for closed loop to function in this case.  You
can see the status of the 5 DCAE VM’s orchestrated
by the DCAE controller container under Rackspace in the demo pages
below.
I uploaded 3 videos to the demo page (bootstrap, dcae-bootstrap, vFW
demo/closed-loop) if you would like to see dynamic behavior beyond the
screen caps.

Hello Serkant,

DCAE spins up in Rackspace and vanilla openstack. Please see the wiki
page about ONAP installation in openstack for further information.

If you want to spin up DCAE in Rackspace, you can use the Rackspace
template instead.

Thanks,

Marco
