[Oorexx-devel] Announcing ooRexx 4.1.1 Release Candidate

2012-03-31 Thread Mark Miesfeld
All,

A release candidate for ooRexx 4.1.1 is available now on SourceForge at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/oorexx/files/oorexx/4.1.1.release.candidate/

Two additional bugs were fixed since the ooRexx 4.1.1 beta 2 was put on
SourceForge. Because of that, a release candidate build was done.

This cycle is expected to be short. If no bugs are reported in 10 to 14
days, an official release will be done.

Please do test the release candidate. If any bugs are found report them in
the standard way, by opening up a bug tracker item at:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=119701atid=684730

Thank you,

[Oorexx-devel] April version of switchOODialog now on SourceForge

2012-03-31 Thread Mark Miesfeld
All,

A new version of switchOODialog has been placed on SourceForge, the
April beta version. 32-bit and 64-bit installation packages are
available:

switch_ooDialog420_410-4.2.0.7721-x86_32.exe

switch_ooDialog420_410-4.2.0.7721-x86_64.exe

The files are available at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/oorexx/files/ooDialog/

The work on ooDialog 4.2.0 is, getting close to complete.

There is only 1 chapter in the ooDialog reference manual to complete:
Chapter 5. PropertySheet and Control Dialogs.

The oodialog.pdf file can be downloaded separately from the same
location for people that might like to just read about the new
features

Switch ooDialog allows you to easily switch between the installed
4.1.0 or 4.1.1 version of ooDialog that is installed with ooRexx and
the upcoming 4.2.0 version of ooDialog. This allows you to try 4.2.0
ooDialog and change back to the released version with a minimum of
effort.

Any and all testing of ooDialog 4.2.0 and proof reading of the
reference manual would be highly appreciated.
