Hi Rony,

I think it is bad interface design. The button to the left of the envelope
has a tooltip follow. I would click that whilst signed-in.

Yes, thank you and thanks to Rick!

The strange thing though is that hovering over the envelope yielded:

as if I was subscribed. Unsubscribing and subscribing again was possible, so hoping that this is now
working.

I see a message on the summary screen saying "This mailing list appears to
be either not
archived yet, or has had no e-mails sent to it. If it is a new list, please
wait 2-4 hours
after the first message is sent for the archive to show up." so I wonder if
it is the linkage
to the patches tracker that does not work.

I notice that I received a notification via the feature-requests list
yesterday.  Looking at
the admin for the tracker under options there is a field 'email ticket
notifications to:'
which is empty for both lists.

It could be that there is a sourceforge problem currently and none of the
forwarding is
working, or it could be that another admin has changed something, or it
could be that this
field despite it's name does not control the forwarding of tracker items to
the mailing lists.

I just tested the rfe ticket and it forwarded to the list ok, even though
that field is empty,
so not sure now where to go with this one.

ideas?

OK. Rick's email makes sense. Looks like you need to follow the tracker

There was definitely a notification email sent out. Are you subscribed to
the list? Click on the envelope icon in the tracker page for that item.

[Oorexx-devel] e-Mail notifications from patches tracker ?

2023-02-03 Thread Rony G. Flatscher
Just noticed that I have not received any e-mail notification messages when a patch tracker item
gets created (unlike with the bug- or rfre-tracker).

Does anyone know where one can activate/define this feature and define the e-mail address to send
notifications to? (Could not find anything looking at the bug tracker definitions.)
