We have not changed any of the other settings, and we occasionally will get what you are seeing. When we do get this, there is usually something messed up in the Evergreen profile on the machine. I have not traced it completely down to what would be causing the problem. I usually will just delete the profile from the User's folder (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\OpenILS\open_ils_staff_client), and then recreate it by re-registering the workstation and then setting the printer up in Evergreen. I've toggled settings to receipt paper and we've examined the receipt templates. Do your transit slips form feed extra paper at the end? Thanks. These are USB thermal printers and work great. These are totally Font/html configurable on the receipts. The only minor inconvenience is that if you send something to the printer the print Dialog box comes up, and you have to hit OK for it to actually print. There may be a fix for this but I have yet to have the time to really look in to this. I bought these when our old Star Micronics SP200's would not work with 1.6.1.4. [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Security Notice: Serials Module in Evergreen 2.0
Evergreen Users, In the course of adding various improvements to the Serials module, it was found that permissions had not been correctly applied to the "Serial Control View" interface. This affects Evergreen versions 2.0.0 thru 2.0.6. If you are using the Serials module in Evergreen 2.0, it is strongly suggested that you follow the steps listed here: http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=security_notice:serials_module If you are not using the Serials module, you may safely ignore this notice. Thank you.
[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Spine label printers recommendations?
I did not get any responses about Evergreen and spine label printers, specifically Zebra thermal transfer printers. Is anyone printing spine labels using Zebra printers? If so-- recommendations, compatibility, set-up? Help! I need answers or comments as soon as possible. We are migrating to Evergreen this year. Many of our libraries have Zebra printers model TLP2844 or GK24. A few libraries would like to purchase printers to use with Evergreen and the purchase needs to be made soon for billing in FY11.
