Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Problem Printing Spine Labels
I have a follow-up to this. I got it to print the labels onto our stock, but it is advancing three blank labels between each label it prints. Does anyone know if this is controlled by an Evergreen setting? Click on the Margins Header/Footer tab. You'll want to set all of your headers and footer to blank. I have tried multiple printers / drivers with the same result. Is there anything in Evergreen I can do to suppress the header and footer? Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Problem Printing Spine Labels
Scott, Try changing the label length (in lines) value. Sometimes, it takes several changes and even going back to the original setting to appease the printer. Elaine J. [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Generating Copy records when using MARC Batch Import/Export function
Wise ones, This is our first attempt to import batches of records using the MARC Batch Import/Export function. We can get it to create and overlay copy records on import, but only when there is a populated barcode subfield defined. We want the system to generate a temporary barcode on import instead of requiring one to already be present. Is there a setting that we need to change somewhere? Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Generating Copy records when using MARC Batch Import/Export function
Hi Don, You can do this from release 2.5 up. There are some release notes on this feature at http://evergreen-ils.org/documentation/release/RELEASE_NOTES_2_5.html#_cataloging. I also believe there is some information on this in the community docs.
