Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Test

2019-01-04 Thread Jane Sandberg
Hi Stuart,

Thanks for your interest! We won't have the specifications for a few
months, but we will be seeking funding partners to enable Single Sign-On in
the Evergreen OPAC using the SAML protocol. We think it will be really
useful for libraries that want to save patrons the hassle of keeping track
of yet more credentials and also have access to a SAML-compatible Single
Sign-On server.

In fact, I've been meaning to post information about our next two sprints
in the Angular Acquisitions project , for
which we will be fundraising in earnest this month. I'll try to do that
before my (Pacific Time) day is over.

We also have an upcoming project to consolidate patron notes, alerts, and
messages into a streamlined interface . We
don't have final specifications for that project, but I imagine it will
start up within a month or two.

2019-01-04 Thread Rogan Hamby
Hi Stuart,

I know that Andrea at Equinox keeps abreast of many of the projects that
the community has an interest in.

When Kathy was at MassLNC she kept an eye on those things fairly studiously
as well. Lucien Kress is there now and filling in some of her duties but I
don't want to speak for him if he wold be a good contact for you but might
be.
