Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Test
Hi Stuart, Thanks for your interest! We won't have the specifications for a few months, but we will be seeking funding partners to enable Single Sign-On in the Evergreen OPAC using the SAML protocol. We think it will be really useful for libraries that want to save patrons the hassle of keeping track of yet more credentials and also have access to a SAML-compatible Single Sign-On server. - Jane On Fri, Jan 4, 2019 at 1:21 PM Lucien Kress wrote: > In fact, I've been meaning to post information about our next two sprints > in the Angular Acquisitions project <http://masslnc.org/node/3382>, for > which we will be fundraising in earnest this month. Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Test
In fact, I've been meaning to post information about our next two sprints in the Angular Acquisitions project <http://masslnc.org/node/3382>, for which we will be fundraising in earnest this month. I'll try to do that before my (Pacific Time) day is over. We also have an upcoming project to consolidate patron notes, alerts, and messages into a streamlined interface <http://masslnc.org/node/3403>. We don't have final specifications for that project, but I imagine it will start up within a month or two. Hi Stuart, The MassLNC Development Initiative is seeking funding partners for several community-funded projects (the largest one being the rewriting of the Acquisitions module for the web client) - please contact Lucien Kress at lkr...@masslnc.org for more information. Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Test
Hi Stuart, I know that Andrea at Equinox keeps abreast of many of the projects that the community has an interest in. When Kathy was at MassLNC she kept an eye on those things fairly studiously as well. Lucien Kress is there now and filling in some of her duties but I don't want to speak for him if he wold be a good contact for you but might be. Hi SCLENDS Consortium is interested in contributing to any development projects that are either in the works or about to be. Does someone have a list of these or can make some suggestions. Steve Just making sure you've looked at this information which might be useful. http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=evergreen-admin:importing:bibrecords The copy locations/collections have a OPAC visible option another thing to check. Great to see you've kept at it, I see you've come far since last week : ) Cheers Metcalf, Steve wrote: How do I add Evergreen staff users? I loaded 55,000 MARC records and can see them in Cataloging, but not in the opac. Assuming this was because none of them had any holdings, I put one volume and one copy on one of them. Now it doesn't appear in search results in Cataloging either. Why would that be? In general, where is the best source for staff user documentation? Google and the documentation wiki are helping a little, but they have gaps. http://open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=evergreen-user:batch_editing_wi th_buckets, for example.
