[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Upgrade Client and Customization

2015-12-01 Thread Scott Thomas
Hi,
We are about to upgrade from 2.6.3 to 2.9.1. We made a lot of customizations
in terms of receipt templates, column lay-outs etc. As near as I can tell,
these customizations are saved on the local PC in the Users folder under App
Data which means they will be retained when the new client is installed. Is
this assumption correct?

Thank you,
Scott

Scott,

I would advise your staff to back up (i.e., export) any receipt (or cataloging)
templates that they will want after the upgrade, just as a matter of good
practice, but yes, they should survive an upgrade.

Hope that's helpful,

Chris
