Re: [PATCH 2.6.30-rc] cxgb3i -- fixed connection error when vlan is enabled

[PATCH 2.6.30-rc] cxgb3i -- fixed connection error when vlan is enabled

 From: Karen Xiek...@chelsio.com

There is a bug when VLAN is configured on the cxgb3 interface, the iscsi
conn. would be denied with message cxgb3i: NOT going through cxgbi device.

This patch added code to get the real egress net_device when vlan is
 configured.

 Hello all,

I want to have multiple clients with same iscsi content. Do I need then a

Yeah, you would need a cluster filesystem or something else that
controls access to the disk.

Could not find a google entry how to do it.
In the moment I have an ext3 on it. When I want to write to that device a get
a read only filesystem. How to mount it read write?

 my fstab:
 /dev/sdc5 /mnt/iscsi-san ext3_netdev 0 0

What is the best way todo all these things?

 Can someone help?
BTW. Is there a open-iscsi IRQ?

Do you mean IRQ as in interrupt handler?

Thanks, but actually this patch gives a rejection here because of a

It's simple enough to fix up, so I did it, but next time could you
(Karen) check your patches against the relevant trees to make sure
they're up to date.

Mike, I am not certain which Thomas you were addressing. I was aware of
an iscsistart segfault at the time this patch was created and I was
convinced that this patch resolved it.
