Role: QA Tester Duration: About 24 months Location: Brooklyn, NY Only Local Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC REQUIREMENTS: • 7+ years of experience participating in quality assurance projects • 3+ years leading quality assurance projects • Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies • Experience implementing a repeatable QA Framework • Experience on at least one large COTS implementation (minimum 6 months) • Hands-on experience in creating test scenario’s, test cases and test data • Experience with testing documentation and automation tools • Experience utilizing and/or creating a testing harness to support end-to-end automated testing • Ability to articulate the testing plan and deliverables to project team members • Assist and lead the business partners in User Acceptance testing • Basic project management skills required to manage the testing processes • Coordinate and prioritize defect resolution with the project team • Coordinate testing activities and tasks. PREFERRED SKILLS: • Experience with Microsoft Test Manager and Microsoft Team Foundation Server. • Experience with industry standard testing automation tools. • Experience coordinating and working with third party vendors. • Experience scripting where appropriate to facilitate testing. 18 + months working on COTS applications.
